About

People always say that I'm dreaming, that I'm always in an imaginary fantasy world. I think they might be right. I believe the creation itself can be sacred, can be a ritual and for me it sometimes is.

There are many types of arts and crafts that I do. Here on the website I'll show you my acrylic and watercolor paintings, and my floral designs, but besides that I also make jewelry, write, make decorations and objects that are made of materials from nature.

I learned floristry and worked in flower shops for many years, today I do floral design for events, also, I studied art history and literature- creative writing in Tel-Aviv University. The middle ages left an Impact on me and I loved everything before the modern times, with a strong exception- the Romanticism. Every time I've read an article about this time and the ideas in it, every poem I have read and every gorgeous painting I observed made me realize that I am a Romantic, or a least a Neo-Romantic, but without labeling myself too much and forgetting other times, I'll just say that I find many artists and art works from different times and places as something fascinating that brings color, imagination and stories to the world. I feel as it is also a contributor to myself and to my art, because the inspiration is limitless.

Not only art inspires me, but actually, the things that inspire me the most are things in nature, and in folktales that are inspired by nature and tell a woodland story, or a story about the stars or the mountains and the human experience with meeting them. Also the small things, like plants and flowers Inspire me, and my floristry work inspire my artworks.

The magic in nature and in this universe is what makes us alive, and the more we get close to it, the more we really are alive. For me, the greatest experience is being alone in nature. sometimes when I travel in nature, the strong green draws me inside a fairyland where everything is sacred and it feels like I breathe every inch of the universe. This raw experience of the world guides me in my paintings and in what I find as beautiful.
